Merge, split, extract, rotate, delete, reorder, number the pages, stamp a watermark, fit everything to A4, trim a margin, drop in a blank page. The document is read from your disk into this tab, changed in memory, and saved back to your downloads folder. There is no upload endpoint on this page, no account to create, and no "we delete your file in 24 hours" promise you have to take on faith.

.pdf · several files at once is fine for merging · order in the list is the order used
Page numbers start at 1. A password-protected PDF has to be unlocked in a PDF reader first — this page will tell you when that is what went wrong. Only the first file in the list is used for everything except merging.
One payment. No account, no subscription, no per-document charge. The browser remembers the unlock on this computer; on another one you paste the order number and it comes back.
This buys the browser version. The Windows app is a separate product at $16.99 and includes this page — so if you already own it, paste that order number on the right and everything unlocks here too. The other way round does not hold: $4.99 does not buy the desktop application.
Unlock all eleven tasksCard, Apple Pay, Google Pay or WeChat Pay. Waffo is the merchant of record: it issues the receipt and handles the tax, and the refund policy is three lines long.
It is in the receipt Waffo emailed you, and in the address bar the moment you came back from paying.
Written the way it behaves, including the part where the browser is the wrong tool.
Merging joins the files in the order shown in the list; page sizes are left alone, so a mix of A4 and Letter stays a mix. Extracting keeps the ranges you name and drops the rest. Splitting cuts one document into one file per range, delivered as a zip so the browser does not have to ask permission for a dozen downloads.
Rotation adds to whatever the page already carries, so pressing 90° twice ends at 180° instead of snapping back. Deleting and reordering rebuild the document page by page, which means annotations anchored to a page travel with it but document-level bookmarks do not survive — they point at page numbers that no longer mean the same thing.
Numbers are drawn as real text into the page, not as a viewer overlay, so they print and they survive being sent on. The font is Helvetica, which carries Latin letters and digits: a Chinese or Arabic watermark will come out as blanks. That is a genuine limitation of doing this in a browser without shipping a 10 MB font, and it is why the Windows app embeds a wider set.
Fit to A4 scales each page's content so it fills the sheet without cropping, keeping landscape pages landscape. Trim sets a crop box, which hides the edge rather than deleting it — anyone who removes the crop box in Acrobat gets the original back, and that is the honest behaviour of every tool that "trims" without re-rendering. Blank pages take their size from the page before them.
A login would mean an account, a password reset, and a server that knows who processed which document. None of the three is necessary here.
Paying returns you to this page with the order number in the address bar. That number is the whole credential: it is checked once against the payment record, then kept in this browser's local storage. Nothing about you is stored, because there is no "you" in the system — only an order that was paid.
The only network call this page makes on your behalf is the one that checks the receipt. Your document is not part of it. Open the network panel and watch: after the page has loaded, no request carries a byte of what you dropped in.
The PDF engine is a local script, and once the receipt has been checked the unlock is remembered for a week. Paste a PDF on a train with no signal and every paid task still runs.
Correct. There is no account system on this site at all. If you lose the order number, email hi@getwold.com from the address you paid with and it will be sent again.
The unlock goes with it. Paste the order number back into the box above and it returns immediately — the payment record is on Waffo's side, not in your browser.
Yes, and on a work laptop and a home one at the same time. It is a receipt, not a seat licence; there is no device limit and no activation counter to run out.
The three free tasks never show a nag and never expire. The eight paid ones are listed in the dropdown with "(paid)" after the name so you can see what exists before deciding — a locked door you can see is more honest than one you discover halfway through a job.
It cannot compress a scanned PDF worth compressing (real compression needs re-encoding the page images), cannot OCR, cannot add or remove a password, and cannot keep a deep table of contents intact through a merge. Those are the reasons the Windows app still exists, and this page says so rather than quietly failing.
This page does eleven jobs. The desktop app does thirty-six, offline, over a whole folder at once.
